Today’s job on the ’76 car was fairly easy. Fitting the B-post trim panels and finish of the door apertures with some nice new door rubbers. But the B-post trim first. After cutting of the excess material of the head lining in the area away, the trim panels could be clicked in places using a handful of plastic trim clips (CZK3631) from the parts collection. And with the panels in position the trims front flaps could be trimmed and glued to the B-posts.
And with all the trim around the door openings in place it was time to finish off this part of the job with new original pattern door seals. These were purchased a few years ago from Tony Zorzo in Australia (tr7trading@gmail.com). And as can be seen in the pictures below they are a very good quality and fit! Especially the detailing of the top corner is very nicely executed.
